It snowed once in April, thickly. None of me knew what slept in the years ahead. I reach back often, knowing and not caring that nothing will change it. Wet details come away in my hand. I want to call all of you, often, if just to be sure you existed. May have dreamt that blue snowfall. I had the thought of April in rain.
